We finished about 98% of the flooring today. We arn't happy with either of the moldings from the manufacturer and arn't sure what we're going to do about it. But here are pictures.Collapse )

We're buying a townhouse. In Rocklin. I'm so very very excited, but I'm really scared too. As soon as I can get through to someone at the development I'm taking over the loan paperwork so that they can get to processing it. We wanted to go with our own lender, but when they'll take 30K off the asking price and do all the window treatments for free how am I going to say no. And the rates are comprable too. I havn't got any pictures yet but we got to walk through yesterday and its lovely. I'll see if I can talk them into letting me take some pictures when I take the paperwork in today. Here are the links to the floor plan and the artists rendering.

So a lot has been going on as of late that I'm being lazy about and not writing about, though I should and will. Suffice to say this entry is about Molly. We've known for about six months that she has had a tumor growing on one of her adrenal glands and between the vet and us decided to wait until now to do surgery. Her little NahNah swelled up a bit last week so since fundage was available we decided it was time. She had her Surgery Monday evening and came home with me Tuesday night. She's been eating well and sleeping well and her little NahNah is already have the size it was. So we're happy all around.

You can see her little punk rock arm bands where they shaved both arms to get a good IV in. Some one at work said she looked like a heroin addict. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, stoopid cops! Behind the cut is another view of her from the side and two of her incision. No blood, but there is some bruising. You've been warned! Poor baby girl!Collapse )

She is doing really well, likes her antibiotics and all but I think she thinks I'm just being mean because I won't let her run around or play with her brother. Keeping her "quiet" for 10-14 days is going to be hellish.

Spring has truly arrived.

The homeless people are having sex on the side of the road again. *sigh*
